13-Day Uganda–Rwanda Cultural Immersion & Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your Inclusive Tours representative. Transfer to your accommodation for rest after your journey.

Day 2: Flight to Kihihi & Transfer to Bwindi
Take a domestic flight to Kihihi. Transfer to Bwindi through terraced hills and homesteads. In the afternoon, visit a Batwa community and join in traditional singing, herbal storytelling, and fire-making.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Morning gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Porter teams and sedan chairs are available for travellers with mobility needs. Spend time observing the gorilla family, then return to relax at the lodge.

Day 4: Cross into Rwanda – Musanze
After breakfast, cross the border into Rwanda. Drive to Musanze and check in. Enjoy a cultural walk visiting banana plantations and local homesteads.

Day 5: Volcanoes National Park Cultural Tour
Explore the buffer zone of Volcanoes National Park. Visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village to see traditional dances, banana beer brewing, and royal hut performances.

Day 6: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Cultural Experience
Choose between a second gorilla trekking experience or a visit to the Dian Fossey Museum and local women’s cooperatives.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali – Reconciliation Tour
Drive to Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to reflect on the country’s history and resilience.

Day 8: Return to Uganda – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Cross back into Uganda. Scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth NP, known for its diverse ecosystems. Evening game drive if time allows.

Day 9: Safari & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Morning safari across Kasenyi Plains. Later, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for spectacular views of hippos, elephants, and birdlife.

Day 10: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Head north to Murchison Falls NP. Enjoy rural countryside views, stop for snacks, and check into your riverside lodge.

Day 11: Game Drive & School Visit
Enjoy a sunrise game drive along the Buligi Circuit. Visit a local school or social project benefiting from responsible tourism.

Day 12: Return to Entebbe
Transfer to the airstrip and fly back to Entebbe. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your guide.

Day 13: Departure
Airport drop-off for your international flight. End of tour.
